Across New Hampshire, Public Health Networks are working with the Department of Health and Human Services to provide communities with additional support regarding the opioid crisis in the state. One of these efforts includes increasing the accessibility of Naloxone (Narcan) kits, provided by the Department of Health and Human Services to non-medical professionals. Friends and family members, can use these kits to save the life of their loved one. Naloxone (Narcan) can be a life-saving medication in the event of an overdose of heroin, fentanyl or prescription pain relievers.  It works by blocking the effects of opioids and may reverse the overdose. These kits are being made available throughout the state through the Anyone Anytime campaign in New Hampshire.
